Skills Are Taught at Both the Fundamental and Advanced Levels

Advanced Skills is a Ministry funded program that is accessed through a request to the DSO (Developmental Services of Ontario).

Our advanced skills staff assist adults who have a developmental disability as well as have the capacity and desire to live more in(ter)dependently within the community.

Staff work on goals such as safety, social skills, day to day living, community connecting and emotional intelligence competencies that are needed to achieve their goals. Skills are taught at both the fundamental and advanced levels.
